He was predeceased by: his parents, William Peters and Katherine Peters (Clabaugh); and his sister Arlene Beard. He is survived by: his wife Ann M. Peters (Shriner) of Biglerville; his children, Steven M. Black (Andrea) and Ryan M. Black (Jessica); his grandchildren, Taylor Black of Biglerville, PA, Peyton Black of Biglerville, PA and Preston Black of Biglerville, PA; and his siblings, Virginia Harbaugh of Cascade, MD, Gloria Mumpower of Waynesboro, PA, Nancy Bankard of Thurmont, MD, David Peters of Emmitsburg, MD and Penny Stup of Clearville, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Monahan Funeral Home (125 Carlisle St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
