He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sr. Newman and Alma Newman (Sowers); and his siblings, Paul Newman Jr., Claire Newman, Dale Newman, Jean Baldwin, Elise Sterner, Martha Nary and Winifred Weikert.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Newman (Lawver) of Biglerville; his daughter Tonya Hays (Douglas Sr.) of Aspers; his grandchildren, Rachel Marks and Adam Marks; his stepgrandsons, Douglas Hays Jr., Eric Hays and Andrew Hays; his great grandchild Cali Marks; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Chase Hays, Casey Hays and Leroy Hays. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
