He was predeceased by: his siblings, Donald W. Bower, James E. Bower, Rev. Marvin Bower, Phyllis Williams, Carole Rhea and Shirley Thomas.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Jay Thomas; his daughter Patty Bower of Biglerville; and his grandchildren, Kierston and Andrew Moffitt. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
