It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christian Rebscher III of Biglerville, Pennsylvania, born in Long Branch, New Jersey, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Rebscher, Jr. and Irene Marie Brister; his sister Jeannette Louise Celeste; and his parents-in-law, John and Mary Wendland.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Rebscher; his children, Mary Acevedo (Eustaquio), Laura Oladosu and Christian A. Rebscher; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Liliana, Leah, Jacob, Andrew and Isaiah; and his siblings, Irene Miller, Raymond Rebscher and Frances Zagorski.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at 4:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church (1095 Church Rd, Orrtanna, PA 17353).
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Masses are requested and can be arranged through St. Ignatius Loyola RC Church, or contributions may be made to the church, or Tender Care Pregnancy Center, 1844 York Rd., Gettysburg, PA 17325 or to St. Jude's Children Hospital/Research, Memphis, TN 38105.
