It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward L. Welch of Bigler, Pennsylvania, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlen Welch and Edith Duckett; his former wife Joanne Welch; and his brother Robert 'Bob Welch. He is survived by: his wife Annamarie A. Welch (Capatch); his children, Ed Welch, Trevor Welch and Kim Sheldon; his stepchildren, Gary Lawhead (Tina), Cynthia Straub (Daniel) and Kim Eyerly (Tim); his grandchildren, Dylan Welch, Andrew Welch, Alex Welch, Justin Sheldon, Jordan Sheldon and Gabrielle Sheldon; and his stepgrandchildren, Chad Lawhead, Pascale Lawhead, Susanne Straub Schneider, Dr. Renee Straub, Kristen Straub, Kyle Eyerly and Brianna Foreman. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Church Endowment Fund, 212 S. Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
