It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Buffington of Big Run, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lorenzo Bitters and Margaret "Mag" Elizabeth Bitters (Lento); and her brother Jack L. Bitters. She is survived by: her husband Robert Dalton Buffington; her children, Larry Buffington (Kathy) of Glen Campbell and Lynn Buffington (Sandy) of Big Run; her grandchildren, Harley Dean Buffington (Heather) of Homer City, Jennifer Buffington of Punxsutawney and Brandi Buffington of Big Run; and her great grandchildren, Brycen, Jake, Riley, Hadleigh and Jenson. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Buffington's memory to the Big Run Volunteer Fire Company, or charity of choice.
