He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Slovinsky, Sr. and Genevieve Slovinsky (Agnello); and his brothers, Robert Slovinsky and Richard Slovinsky. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary LaBelle, Jerry Farcus of Punxsutawney and Diane Shenkle (Bob) of DuBois; and his nieces and nephews, Marcie Wolfe (Dan) of Punxsutawney, Jessica Cielo (Ron) of Sarasota Florida, Michelle Elliott (Ben) of Punxsutawney, Shane Hanley (Brandy) of Punxsutawney, Josh Slovinsky (Brandi) of Rossiter, Rachelle Slovinsky of Punxsutawney, Brett Mallory of Rossiter and Jared Mallory (Audrey) of Sharon.
