It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Pittman of Big Cove Tannery, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Wilson Pittman and Etta Marguerite Miller; his siblings, Ethel Davis, Mary Ruth Mellott, Olive Mona Jean Younker, Judi Kenney, Helen Hann, Alice Golden, Robert Pittman, Paul Pittman, Larry Pittman and Carl Pittman; his son Curtis Ray Pittman; and his son-in-law Richard Starliper.
He is survived by: his close friend Susan Moody; his granddaughter Jaycie Moody; his former wife Mary Ellen Pittman; his children, Brian Pittman (Buck) of Harrisonville, PA, Mindy Starliper of Needmore, PA, Lonnie Cline of Chambersburg, Misty Ashley of Needmore, PA and Kevin Pittman of Needmore, PA.; his grandchildren, Ashley Heinbaugh, Jared Starliper, Chelsea Sigel, Jenny Vanorsdale, Mercedes Huber, Lars Cline, Amanda McKenrick and Erik Starliper; his great grandchildren, Braelyn Starliper, Ryleigh Starliper, Dekkin Heinbaugh, Westin Heinbaugh, McKinley Sigel, Kye Sigel, Brennan Vanorsdale, Zayne Vanorsdale, Madeline Huber, Michele Huber, Mackenzie Huber, Amelia Cline, Landon Cline and Preslee McKenrick; and his siblings, Virgil James Pittman and Linda Harr.
