It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel L. Mellott of Big Cove Tannery, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive Keefer (Bishop) and Ulysses G. Keefer; her siblings, Roy Keefer, Bill Keefer, John Keefer, Kenny Keefer and Edna Helman; and her son-in-law Ken Brady.
She is survived by: her husband Norman E. Mellott; her children, Curtis Mellott (Lorraine) and Vickie Tackett (Galen) of Charlottesville, VA.; her grandchildren, Amber Schwab (Matt) of Warrenton, VA and Tyen Tackett of Charlottesville, VA; and her great grandchild Delilah Schwab of Warrenton, VA..
