He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Mae Sutton; his parents, Gerald Rowe and Caroline Rowe (Heidecker); his siblings, Frances C. Heydt Brown, Robert "Chirp" G. Rowe, Beatrice Hunsinger and Geraldine Bechdolt; and his close friend Kathleen "Lynn" Marie Newhart.
He is survived by: his sons, William R. Jr. (Christine) of Hellertown and Richard K. of Hellertown; his stepchildren, Cindy J. Newhart (Lucas), Cheryl Newhart (William) of Bethlehem and Steven Newhart of Hellertown; his brother Thomas Rowe of Steel City; and his grandsons, William R. Rowe III and Joshua C. Rowe. He is also survived by step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
