He was predeceased by: his parents, Jen-Lin Hsu and Sunyun Lee Hsu. He is survived by: his wife Shuyu Hsu (Chang); and his siblings, Emily C. Ho, Yeu-Lan Hsu, Der-Ann Hsu and Huo-An Hsu.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home (500 Linden St, Bethlehem, PA 18018). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
His formidable intellect led to a distinguished career ranging from industry at G.D. Searle, Universal Oil Products, and Gulf Oil to government at the National Science Foundation, and finally to academics.
