He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hein and Margaret Hein (Ackerman); and his siblings, James, William, Russell, Robert, Eleanor, Virginia, Cathy and Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene (Danner); his children, Thomas Hein Jr. (Tracey), Danielle Hein and Cassandra Piekiewicz (Anthony); and his grandsons, Justin, Joshua, Julian Piekiewicz and Jarrett Hein. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
