He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pierre and Jean La Pierre (Smith). He is survived by: his close friend Libi; his children, Paige Adell Guth (Matthew) and Lucas Samuel La Pierre; his siblings, Michele Krause (Scott), Matthew La Pierre, Danielle Dennison (Bruce) and Chad La Pierre; and his granddaughter Liliana Grace La Pierre. He is also survived by godchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews & cousins.

“I knew Steve when he was our Executive Director here at The Evergreens CCRC in Moorestown, N.J. I am a resident and Steve helped us with the transition from The Evergreens to ACTS. We loved him. He was so vibrant and alive. He even participated in our Residents Annual Show…he sang ‘Everything's up to date in Kansas City’ and he was so good. We could ask him anything and he was so helpful. We are shocked and saddened to learn of his death. I pray his family is at peace.”
