He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Silvetz and Theresa Poslan Silvetz. He is survived by: his wife Anna Fais Silvetz; the father of his child Robert David Silvetz, MD; his children, Kristina Silvetz and John Paolo Romano Silvetz; and his grandchildren, Blythe and Julian Silvetz.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the foundation for treatment of military and child trafficking survivors suffering with PTSD.
