He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Derr and Margaret Derr (Bushold); his wife Helen; and his siblings, Jean Nieska and Leroy Derr.
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa H. Kressler and Frances H. Shellenberger (Richard). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
