He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl Young (Stoudt); his parents, Warren B. Young and Lillian Young (Schmalz); his children, Keith and Mary Ann Kemmerer; his brother Norman; and his grandson John Kalynych.
He is survived by: his daughter Pauline Kalynych (Paul) of Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Melissa, Deborah, Joshua and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Amanda, Kensley, Caitlyn, Rachel, Wyatt, Noah, Dylan and Andrew; and his great great grandchildren, Lydia and Parker John.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
