Fries of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by : his wife Elizabeth T. "Betsy" Fries (Wentz); and his parents, Kenneth L. Fries and Kathryn Fries (Hregician). He is survived by : his son Kenneth L. Fries III (Christina); his granddaughter Brianna J. (AJ Necessary); and his great grandchildren, Tessa, Travis and Delaney.

Viewing was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home (500 Linden St, Bethlehem, PA 18018). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (450 E Washington Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18017).

“Dear Fries Family & Friends-I was heartily sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved Ken, a lovely man whom I befriended at Arden (where I volunteer read to the residents). Ken never attended any sessions, but I got to know him because my husband lived diagonally across the hall from him for 2 years. He SO liked the little artificial tree I gifted him; he didn't allow staff to remove it long after December. He was a sweet man; I will never forget him. Peace & prayers, Margaret Murray”
