She was predeceased by: her mother Lillian Onque (DuBoise); her husband John W. Payne; and her father Walter J. Onque. She is survived by: her sister Barbara Jean Killen; her children, Candice A. Sutton, Donna A. Sutton, Roberta A. Britto, James L. Onque and Mutiah Ali (Wonda A. Sutton); and her brother Lawrence J. Walker. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 25 ½ great grandchildren.
