She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kathryn G. Croft and Foster W. Hughes; her husband LeRoy "Lee" H. Sample, Jr.; her daughter Hilary; her son-in-law Michael; and her grandchildren, Alice and James of Manhattan. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to assist the family in purchasing a high-low examination table for the Kirkland Village Wellness Center in Judith's memory.
