He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Novak and Mary Novak (Krall). He is survived by: his wife Helen V. Novak (Leonard); his children, Cecelia Updegrove, Nancy Ann Werner (Kevin), John, Jr. and Stephen; and his siblings, William, Anne Surman and Gloria Grant (Nicholas). He is also survived by Eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
