He was predeceased by: his former wife Joann Mulea (Corcoran); his parents, Thomas C. Mulea and Ruth Mulea (LeBoutillier); his brother Charles Mulea; and his pet Nikki.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Mulea (Kneller); his children, John C. Mulea, Jr. (Alisa) of Justus and Theresa L. Mulea of Scranton; his stepson Christopher M. Steirer (Nicole) of Bethlehem; his siblings, Gaeton S. Mulea (Louise) of Elizabethville, Sharon A. Mulea of Scranton, Michele (Michael Nardone) of Somerset, NJ, Frank Mulea (Kimberly) of Bangor and Patricia A. Mulea of Elizabethville; his grandchildren, Devin, Megan, Grace, Noah, Ava and Hunter; his great grandchild Francie Jo; and his pets, Duchess of Moscow and Duke of Moscow.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home (500 Linden St, Bethlehem, PA 18018). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
