He was predeceased by: his parents, Henri Bestel and Simone Bestel (Kerenflech); and his brother Georges Bestel. He is survived by: his close friend Kristina Gomez; his daughters, Tania Bestel Hall (Jon) of Houston, TX, Christine Bestel Oxenford of Clarksburg, MD and Ashley Bestel (Paige Whippo) of Silverthorne, CO; his grandchildren, Lauren, Erin, Ryan Oxenford, Gabrielle, Christina and Joshua Hall; his great grandchild Oceane Hall; his siblings, Pierre Bestel (Martine) of France, Marie Helen Faucomprez (Jean Luc) of France and Jack Bestel of France; and also, Stefan Sculac and Delana Sculac.
