She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertram F. Shiner and Mary Mae Shiner (Hess); her husband Dr. Walter Batt; and her siblings, Marjorie L. Shiner and Bertram Shiner.
She is survived by: her children, Walter L. Batt, III (Susan), Sandra Gillen, Barbara Burkhardt (William), Cheryl Perkins and Robyn Batt (John Walton); her siblings, Lanny Shiner and Ruth Allen; and her grandchildren, Amanda Burkhardt-McGoff (Tara), Andrew Burkhardt (Helen), Megan Terry (Daniel), Kathryn Podhyski (Garrett), Jennifer Vancek (Michal), Thomas J. Panik (Theresa), Jocelyn Perkins, Dylan Perkins, Makenzie Rocha (Victor), Madison Batt, Payton Batt and Jameson Gillen. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
