It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis E. Kostecky of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Francis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Francis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kostecky and Josephine Kostecky (Pogwist); his brother Michael Kostecky (Judy); and his son-in-law Wade E. Caverly. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn M. (Fatula); his children, Robin A. Caverly-Kelly (James) of Catasauqua, PA and Matthew E. Kostecky (Selina) of Ormond Beach, FL; and his grandson Andrew Wade Kostecky.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church (4 S 5th St, Coplay, PA 18037). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
