She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph T. Zavecz; her parents, Otto J. Beck and Mary Beck (Ambrose); and her sisters, Beatrice Dull, Cathrine Deutsch and Helen Findon.

She is survived by: her son Roy O. Shelly of Allentown; and her sister Bernadine Zovko. She is also survived by 3 step grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Dorothy's memory to St. Ursula Catholic Church.
