He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. McLaughlin and Henrietta McLaughlin (Spreckler); and his siblings, Thomas E. McLaughlin and Joan McLaughlin. He is survived by: his children, Jim McLaughlin and Megan McLaughlin; and his grandsons, Michael Miller and Aaron Wittman.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Donald's memory to United Cerebral Palsy of Northeastern PA, 425 Wyoming Ave, Scranton, PA 18503.
