He is survived by: his wife Liz Chiu; his children, Erika Richie (Aaron) of Missouri City, Sarah Jones (Courtney) of Bainbridge Island, Alex Zappas and Aaron Zappas (Tammy) of Texas; his grandchildren, Landon Richie, Charlie Richie, Jarius Richie, Oscar Jones, Aaron Jr., Ashley Zappas and Jodi Zappas; and his siblings, David Crouthamel (Hannah) of Wells, Maine, Susan Evans of Bangor and Nancy Crouthamel of Oakmont.
