He was predeceased by: his mother Freida Smith (Potter). He is survived by: his father William Smith; his former wife Susan Smith; his daughter Shannon L. Smith; his grandson Ayden Stauffer (Susan Smith); and his siblings, Barbara Filaseta, Beverly Fehnel and Wayne Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
