He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Kurina and Anna Kurina (Valuch); and his sister Marianne Brown. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Kurina (Albert); his daughter Bethany Marek (Michael); his grandchildren, Abel and Miriam; and his sisters, Joanne Kurina and Theresa Shoemaker. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and his three step-children.
