He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Lee Koehler (Fink); his parents, Charles Koehler and Esther Koehler (Fehnel); and his brothers, Harold and William Koehler.
He is survived by: his children, Robert A. Koehler Jr. (Lori) of Northampton, James A. Koehler Sr. (Anna) of Bethlehem, Scott A. "Whitey" Koehler (Brenda) of Collegeville and Susan E. Stellato (Lou) of Nazareth; and his siblings, Donald Koehler (Ann) of Gary, Virginia Salvatore of Bethlehem, Richard Koehler of Bethlehem, Rheta Judd of Bethlehem, Phyllis Koehler of Bethlehem and Barbara Williams of Bethlehem. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
