She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Ezekiel Torres and Lucila Torres Diaz; her husband John Shupe; her sisters, Rebecca Weiss, Isabel Valido and Marta Mirabal; and her nephews, Remigio Valido, Felix Mirabal and Pancho Mirabal.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Shupe (Alice); her grandchildren, Kate Leech (Brian), Emma Flaugher (Dan) and Sam Shupe (Rebecca); her daughter Susan Facchiano; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Owen, Jackson Leech, Noah and Lucy Flaugher; and her niece Rebecca Romero (Orestes).
