It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alton J. Kies (Bethlehem, Pennsylvania), born in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kies and Ruth Kies (Strunk); his daughter Linda Grady; and his siblings, Robert Kies and Caroline Heimpel.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kies (Rothrock); and his children, Terri Savacool (Michael) of Macungie, Dennis Kies (Joan) of Danielsville, William "Bill" Miller, Jr. (Beth) of Allentown, Jeff Miller (Vera) of Summerville, SC and Brett Miller of Bethlehem. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
