He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Trujillo and Ignacia Trujillo (Cardona); his sons, Axel Trujillo and Luis Trujillo; and his siblings, Gerardo Trujillo, Clara Trujillo, Moises Trujillo, Leocadio Trujillo, Hermenehildo Trujillo, Gumercinda Trujillo and Herminia Trujillo.
He is survived by: his wife Carmen Luz Trujillo; his stepchildren, Jose Antonio Ortiz (Jodi) and Annette Petrillo; his siblings, Luis Trujillo, Ersito Trujillo and Jesus Trujillo; his granddaughters, Natasha Trujillo-Ruiz (Maximino Jr.), Marissa Ortiz, Sofia Trujillo and Eva Trujillo; and his great grandchild Maximino Ruiz, III.
