He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Yiengst and Verna Yiengst (Miller); and his siblings, Betty Funk, Carl and Richard Yiengst.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Yiengst (Light); his daughters, Donna (Gary Achenbach) of Myerstown and Diana (James "Ike" Eisenhauer) of Bethel; his stepchildren, Lisa Landis of Hummelstown, Dale (Angie Landis) of Lebanon and Steven (Lori Landis) of Newmanstown; his grandchildren, Katie, Sara and Marc; his stepgranddaughter Baileigh; and his sister Helen (Glenn Ginder) of Schaefferstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
