She was predeceased by: her son Matthew Childress; and her brother Johnny Terry. She is survived by: her friend Rotarians; her husband Elbert "Slim" Childress; her daughters, Debra Kozak (Mark) and Gabrielle Childress; and her granddaughter Cassy Phillips.
