With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clayton Lavern Schmehl (Bethel, Pennsylvania), born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 4, 2018 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Minnie Schmehl (Lengel); and his daughter Julie Goshorn (Greg). He is survived by: his spouse Helen I. Schmehl (Beamesderfer); his parent Ivan Schmehl; and his children, Larry C. Schmehl (Joan), Dennis R. Schmehl (Kay), Margie Folk (Don), Jean Erb (Robert), Lorraine Weatherholtz (Rory) and Mary Feeg (Brian). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
