It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Newton of Bethel, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alice Newton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Leon Hopkins and Adella Margaret Hopkins (Klingensmith); her husband Dr. Rex H. Newton Jr.; her son Robert D. Newton; and her brother Robert Joseph Hopkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy N. Smith (Robert) of Meadville; her daughter-in-law Patricia L. Newton of Bethel Township; her granddaughters, Christina M. Gross (Stephen), Rachel A. Newton, Elisabeth N. Smith (Mariana Silva) and Natalie L. Smith (Jennifer Dafcik); and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Noah and Sophia.
