She was predeceased by: her siblings, Olive Mae Sands, Donald Piel, Jean Homitsky and Betty Lou Hurt. She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Shelpman; her children, Edward Shelpman (Kristine) and Pamela Pichora (David); and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Stephen, Sydney and Rebecca. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the David Henney Funeral Home (6364 Library Rd, South Park Township, PA 15129). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ United Methodist Church (44 Highland Rd, Bethel Park, PA 15102).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pittsburgh's Children's Hospital.
