He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Overend and Betty Overend; and his brother Reed. He is survived by: his wife Susie Overend (Smyth); his daughters, Gretchen Sobotka (Steve) and Amanda Turnbull (Matthew); his stepsons, Andrew Lafferty (Susanne), Matthew Lafferty (Jill) and Ross Lafferty (Shawna); his grandchildren, Haley Resosky, Drew Lafferty, Austin Lafferty, Johnny Resosky, Owen Lafferty, Autumn Turnbull, Mady Lafferty, CJ Turnbull, Ashton Lafferty, Ethan Sobotka, Jackson Lafferty, Julian Lafferty and Josephine Lafferty; and his siblings, David Overend (Elaine), Carol Drake (Pete) and Candy Hodgson (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
