He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Lou Ann Kinol; his children, Kristian Kinol Opat (JoEllen Marsh) and Elizabeth Opat White (Adam); his parents, Stephen Opat and Barbara Opat (Majhan); his sister Frances "Franny" Oddo (late Richard); and his grandchildren, Gwenyth Ann and Louis Adam.
