He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Carroll Lammie; his children, Stephanie Lammie, David R. Lammie and Amy Herrlich; his parents, Harold Lammie and Velma Lammie; his siblings, William J. (Debra), Thomas "Guy" (late Sharon), Scott Miller Lammie (Susan), Kimberly Ann Lammie (Joseph Fritz) and James D. Weldon; and his grandchildren, Dominic, Adrianna, Oakley and Grady. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
