He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Watters (Chesleigh); and his siblings, Jack, Naomi Breit and Dorothy Zelesky (Carlin). He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer L. Hayes (Ted Bertella); and his granddaughters, Julia Angotti and Brianna Hayes.
