He was predeceased by : his parents, Cornelius Thomas (C. T.) and Mary C. Ryan; his brother-in-law Glenn "Art" Stehle; and his mother-in-law Estelle "Sis" Tierney. He is survived by : his wife Mary Sue Ryan (Tierney); his sister Mary Ann Stehle (Ryan); his nieces, Marla (D. J.), Megan, Victoria and Kaitlyn; and his nephew Kevin. He is also survived by cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freyvogel Slater Funeral Directors, Inc. (112 Fort Couch Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15241). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (718 Hazelwood Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217).
