He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry, Sr. Copple and Josephine Copple; and his brother Richard Copple. He is survived by: his wife Margaret A. "Marge" Copple (McGarvey); his children, Brian Copple, Christine "Chrissy" Copple and Maureen Copple Szewczyk (Mike); his granddaughter Alyssa Sandin; and his brother Gary Copple (Sue) of Florida. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews.
Jerry suffered from dementia for many years, if desired, donations can be sent to Alzheimer's Association - Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 2835 E. Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
