She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Raney and Bessie Robinson Raney; her husband Howard A. Gwin; and her sisters, Mary Muir and Grace Bobby.
She is survived by: her children, Martin H. Gwin (Diane) of Bessemer and Sherry Steindler (Robert) of Manassas, VA; her grandchildren, Nikki Burkett (Michael), Kathryn Steindler, Daniel (Sarah), Matthew Gwin, Kyle and Reese Steindler; and her great grandchildren, Ellyson and Huxin Burkett.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
