He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Huzzard and Julia Huzzard; his grandparents, Willis and Sarah Huzzard; his aunts, Mary, Wilma and Ruth Huzzard; his uncle Ralph E. Huzzard; and his brother Donald Rutledge of Lewes, Delaware..

He is survived by: his wife Maryanne Thompson Lepire; his children, Mark Huzzard (Meghan), Kristin Vandergoes (Chris) and Deirdre Alderfer; and his stepdaughter Jenine Lepire.
