It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Simons of Berwick, Pennsylvania, born in Abington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Teddy" and Carrie Simons; his stepdaughter Marie Yorks; his siblings, Darlene Casey (Howard Hunter) and Theodore "Teddy" Simons; and his niece Sheila Elizabeth Swartz.

He is survived by: his pet Morris; his close friend Carolyn Yorks; his children, Wayne Merkins, Eric Wayne Simons (Chandra), Trisha Biagi (Jon), Roseanne Simons, Carrie Ann Simons and Shane Yorks (Angelica Pegan); his grandchildren, DeSean, Anthony, Mekaylah, Colby, Kendra, Aiden and Gage; his niece Deborah Simons; and his nephew Ted DuVal (Stacey).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heller Funeral Home, LLC, or the family to help defray his final expenses.
