She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herring and Irene Herring (Ford); her son Kevin James Hampton; and her siblings, James F. Herring and Jacqueline Long.
She is survived by: her close friend Ronald Lee Longenberger; her children, John Thomas Hampton, Jr. of Berwick, Brian Hampton (Denise) of Benton, Holly Vaughan of Berwick and Wendy (Brian John) of New Cumberland; and her siblings, John Herring (Marqueen) of Catawissa, Wanna Lee Babb of Orangeville, Gloria (Rich Truax) of Bloomsburg, Norma Jean Erlston of Danville, Kathy (Bob Drumheller) of Danville and Hazel Diel of Danville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
