He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron Probst and Audrey Probst (Slusser). He is survived by: his wife Theresa P. Probst (Harmon); his sons, Stephen F. Probst (Vrony) and Shaun Probst (Leann); and his siblings, Terry Probst (Cathy) and Elizabeth Mowery (Darwin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to his family to help defray his final expenses.

“Stevie and I always had a special relationship. I just found out that he left this place and went to a better place. I’ll always remember the stories that he told me about 29 palms.
