With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth (Fowler) Mackert of Berwick, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Fowler and Clara Fowler (Housel); her daughters, Christina Marie and Kay Louise Mackert; and her siblings, Barb, Charles, Gilbert, Sheldon, Art, Bob, Jay and Norman.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Crouse (Robert), Troy Makert (Cheryl Tolan), Cybil Fish (Rodney) and Gary Mackert Jr. (Terri); her grandchildren, Rob, Troy Jr., Kenneth, Samantha, Krystan, Sabrina, Brandon and Tommy; her great grandchildren, Adriana, Aaliah, Ava, Ryker, Camden, Kinsley and Paisley; and her siblings, Charlotte Lipsey, Holly Young (Russel), Gertrude Kinney (John), Jerry Fowler (Cookie), Leroy Fowler Jr. and Dave Fowler (Wendy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Heller Funeral Home (633 E 3rd St, Nescopeck, PA 18635). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
